100 word challenge T3 wk 10
Prompt words: bicycle, desperate, yellow, warned, greedily.

I was addicted. I could understand that now. My parents had warned me but I hadn’t taken them seriously, I had acted too greedily. Now I was desperate, so I got on my yellow bicycle and rode to a friend of mine who was a doctor and had experienced this. I had never really felt the need to go to a doctor before, but now I understood how important it was, and just how much I now needed one. I felt worried, but I reached the doctor and she told me how to stop my addiction, and so I did.

Exhibition final reflection

Exhibition has finished at last. It finished on Thursday the seventh of November and now we don’t have to do anymore exhibition work, in the exhibition I learnt a lot of things, including how I work as a learner, and how I work with friends. In the exhibition I worked moderately hard in the first part, when I could of worked harder, which is what made it so hard in the final weeks leading up to the night, I noticed that the same was happening to some of my friends, where they didn’t work hard enough in term 3, so they had to rush to catch up in term 4, so our performance was not as good as it could be, if we had worked harder, despite that, I think that I still did a pretty good job in the exhibition, even if I still could of done better. By the time it was time for the presentation we had a moderate amount of work done for our presentation, and it turned out to be enough for the night. The next day we weren’t asked such hard questions, because it was the kids who had come and not the adults, as they had the night before. Personally I think that while some of the adults had asked really tricky questions, some of the kids did actually ask question as difficult as, maybe even harder, than some adults. I have really enjoyed the exhibition and I hope I get a good grade.

100 word challenge
Prompt: it was heavier than I expected…

I was just relaxing at home, reading a book when my mum came in and told me that my friend thought we should have a sleepover at their house, and said that the time was in two days, so I told her to say ‘yes’ so she texted my friends parents, telling them that we had agreed, and then I went back to my book.

The days passed slowly as I waited for the time to leave for their house, but finally we left for their house, the only thing was, it was raining, and it was heavier than I expected.

Exhibition Reflection Week 10

This week in exhibition we are really close to finishing our dance for our topic, we have finished the choreography and only need to do the videoing, and I have almost finished my information texts.
We also have made an 100 word challenge on our topic from exhibition, and are doing poetry as well on our topic.

5h Birthday Graphs

Today we have made a graph about the birthdays in our class. We made a first draft and then thought about how we could make it better, and made a second draft, and so on, until you have made a successful graph. It took me three drafts to make it look good, here they are.

One day I returned home from school and was chilling out on the couch watching TV with my sister. Suddenly the TV turned off and the lights went out. We were just sitting there, in there dark when we heard a noise, coming from my room at the other end of the house. We started to walk there and then we reached the door, and my sister went in first, but didn’t come out again. Then after she disappeared, It was just me left in the dark house, so I tried walking into the room myself, but statues don’t move.

Exhibition reflection

This week we have finished our 3rd line of inquiry. I have learnt a lot more about my topic this week. We have finished our finding out and are moving on to sorting out and going further. We are also doing interviews with people who have experienced or are a doctor about addiction. I am interviewing one of my friends uncle.
